We believe in true democratization of injury-prevention resources.
Our Mission
Kinesphere Lab was founded after witnessing firsthand how inaccessible professional injury prevention resources are for the majority of dancers. While elite companies and conservatories benefit from advanced biomechanical analysis and dedicated sports medicine teams, most dancers, regardless of their dedication or talent, train without any data-driven support. Injuries go undetected, and the gap between those who can afford proper care and those who cannot continues to grow. Kinesphere Lab exists to change that.
The dance world has long accepted inequity as inevitable. Kinesphere Lab does not. We are committed to ensuring that every dancer, regardless of their background or resources, has access to the injury prevention support they need to train safely and sustainably.

Our Affiliations
Kinesphere Lab has received early-stage grant support from Girls4SportsEquality, the world’s largest youth-led nonprofit dedicated to closing equity gaps in sports and athletics. Their investment in our work reflects a shared belief that equitable access to injury prevention resources is a sports equity issue.
Where We’re Headed
Cohort 1 is just the beginning. As we collect movement data and refine AXISPHERE, our goal is to expand our motion study program to dance studios, schools, and training programs across the country, and eventually worldwide. We envision a future where every dancer, from a community studio in a small town to a pre-professional conservatory, has access to the same quality of injury prevention tools as the world’s most elite companies.
